These two weeks have gone by so quick that I wish ´´I had more time``( haha Frau). All though ´´I need more time``, I can't wait to be home and just relax for a while. My host family was really great and really nice and it's going to be different without them. All the trips and tours we went on were cool and interesting and we always had something to do while we were here.
´´I need more time Frau``
While on this trip, I wasn't expecting how expensive stuff would be. Just to buy a normal t-shirt it was about €25, there wasn't really anything special about them.
´´IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII nnnnnnneeeeeeeeddddddd mmmoooooorrrrreee tiiiiiiiiimmmmmmmmeeeeee``
This was a great trip and I wish we could stay another week.
I agree about pricing Collin. I know when I was there last summer I found a way to find American stores that sold German products such as Woolsworth. They are a cheap dollar type store but I found lots of German stuff there including Bavarian flags, Wilkommen flags for my garden, t-shirts with funny German sayings like "What are you looking at" and so much more. I also found German books for kids and lots of computer games which were pretty basic but fun. Consider this store for next year. There are also some EURO stores now which are like our DOLLAR TREE stores. Everything in the store is just one EURO. I know there was one in Leipzig so I bet Berlin has one too. Also consider a flea market next time you go. Berlin has some great ones and you can find some cool stuff. I bought Volksmarch medals last year that had my family name on them. Very Cool!......Frau Vorwerk, German Teacher at Dunbar Int'l Studies Magnet Middle School, Little Rock, Arkansas, USA
